Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel announced on Friday he is leaving English Premier League leaders Chelsea to join Chinese side Tianjin TEDA.
He is the latest star to head to the Chinese Super League, after the high-profile signings of Chelsea team-mate Oscar by Shanghai SIPG and Carlos Tevez by Shanghai Shenhua in recent weeks.

Midfielder Mikel has not featured at all for Chelsea under manager Antonio Conte, who took over in July.
"After 10 years, 374 appearances and 11 trophies, it is time for me to say goodbye," Mikel said in a letter posted on his Twitter account.

In his farewell letter, Mikel reflected on his career at the Blues.

"I joined Chelsea as a 19-year-old kid from the Norwegian Premier League, making my debut in the Community Shield," he said.
"I say goodbye as a champion of England, a champion of Europe, and proud captain of my national team."
Mikel gave no details about the contract he's signed.
Brazilian midfielder Oscar, 25, landed in Shanghai on Monday for a reported Asian transfer record 60 million euros ($63 million) deal.
China ordered a clampdown on Thursday on the mega sums being shelled out on foreign football stars after the high-profile signings of Oscar and Tevez, reportedly now the highest paid player in the world commanding 38 million euros a season.<br />
<br />
There has to be action against "irrational investment" and the government will "regulate and restrain high-priced signings and make reasonable restrictions on players' high incomes", a state General Administration of Sport spokesman warned.

<h3 align="justify">
The Commandant-General, Peace
Corps of Nigeria (PCN), Dickson Akor, has said that the organisation
will generate 800,000 jobs for youths in the country.</h3>
<div align="justify">
Akor,
who made this known at a news briefing at his residence in
Ogoli-Ugboju, Oturkpo Local Government Area on Wednesday, said the Corp
was one of the best channels to engage Nigerian youths.</div>
<div align="justify">
He, however, said that this would be made possible when the bill establishing the PCN was assented to by <strong>President Muhammadu Buhari.</strong></div>
<div align="justify">
The bill, sponsored by Senate Leader, <strong>Mohammed Ali Ndume</strong> (APC-Borno), was first read at plenary on March 10, 2016 and scaled second reading.</div>
<div align="justify">
It seeks to facilitate peace volunteerism, community service, neighbourhood watch and nation building.</div>
<div align="justify">
The bill will also facilitate the training of youths to advance the course of peace building and conflict transformation.</div>
<div align="justify">
It
will engage peace education, mediation and conflict resolution among
warring groups or communities where there are crisis in Nigeria to
advance its course.</div>
<div align="justify">
<em>“President Buhari
and the Nigerian Army under the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur
Buratai must be commended for their efforts in capturing Sambissa
Forest.</em></div>
<div align="justify">
<em>“While I canvas support
for the security agencies to engender peace and social order, however,
the corps is strategically placed to complement the activities of
security agencies,’’ </em>Akor said.</div>
<div align="justify">
Akor
said the corps would be saddled with voluntarism and neighbourhood
watch activities in different communities across the country.</div>
<div align="justify">
He called on Nigerians to learn to live together for peaceful coexistence in 2017.</div>
<div align="justify">
He
said the corps had formations and offices in virtually every state and
local government in the country, and described it as one of the best
channels to engage youths.</div>
<div align="justify">
The PCN boss
said that he constructed a state-of-the-art police station with closed
circuit television and other equipment for the police in his community
due to the threatening state of insecurity in the country.</div>
<div align="justify">
He
added that this gesture was aimed at adequately securing Benue and
preventing the nasty experiences meted out to the Agatu people and
several parts of Tivland.</div>
<div align="justify">
Akor lauded the
spirit of accommodation in his community, and urged that the
communities dwell in peaceful coexistence and not in hostility.</div>
<div align="justify">
<em>“The
spirit of accommodation in this community is buttressed by the presence
of the Fulanis and the Sarkin Hausawa of Benue South Senatorial
District at my residence to celebrate the new year,’’</em> he said.</div>
<div align="justify">
He, however, decried the deplorable state of the road passing through Ogoli-Ugboju, leading to Onyagede and Ankpa in Kogi.</div>
<div align="justify">
He called on the anti-graft agencies to investigate the award of the contract for repair of the road.</div>
<div align="justify">
Akor
said several people, including pregnant women, had died as a result of
the delay in accessing medication due to the bad condition of the road.</div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Now, considering the fact that there can be so many factors
that make usopt for the very magnanimous option of studying abroad, or better
still, taking online courses that might probably not<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>even get approved.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Today, my audience will actually go out to Africans, and
nigeria in particular. Apart from the fact that most of our schools are kindof
substandard and facilities in there are a no go area, the hostels are really
dingy and preoccupied.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">But all the same, Schools arent really that bad here…</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Now one thing that disturbs most of us as candidates, is
actually the mode of entering the university, yes, you heard me right, the
mode.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So many nigerians, both home and abroad are actually
familiar with this keyword…JAMB…lol, the worlds famous JAMB.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">JAMB, is an educational body, that governs the mode of entry
into the university in nigeria. They are in charge of exams and admissions…</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">In literal words, you would say JAMB actually designs our
destiny…. Yes</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">They make the rules, and decides who goes in or who doesn’t</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">As a business man, who never had the opportunity to attend
the four walls of a university, and probably you have earned some cool amount
of money, and well, you pretty much wouldn’t allow education to rule your
booming business, lol</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Apply for online courses from prestigous schools around the
world, where you can learn from the comfort of your home, watch online videos,
and take live webcam videos of classes</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">There are so many foreign<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>schools that provide this feature, and they are really cheap if you
would ask me.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Now, coming to the problem of accreditation, the government
actually approves the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>certificates of so
many high world class educ ational institutions that provides online courses
for students</span></div>

Note> You should know that the first number signifies people who chose the cousrse as a first choice, second number second choice, same goes with the third and fourth... the fifth is the total number of candidates who applied for the course.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03120859904754430259noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291641165657482062.post-10018037528656013592016-12-23T17:02:00.001-08:002016-12-23T17:02:44.312-08:00jamb statistics 2017Now, most of you, if not all, have acually been on your toes, and on my neck for the 2017 jamb registration statistics. You see, the thing is not knowing your current course statistics is like walking around blindly and hitting things, without ever knowing it.<br />
<br />
Knowing the amount of caindidates in ur field who registered for jamb helps you to know, choose, and decide simply what course to go for.. as in regarding the competition<br />
<br />
Now, some people will actually give the i dont care attitude, well, because they pretty much want to go for the passion and stuff...<br />
<br />
Hey, note, i am strictly not against passion, and neither am i against choice, all i am saying is that, for those who know their capabilities, and want a quick entry, they should actually go for smaller courses with less number of applicants<br />
<br />
The good thing is, after a year, with a good gp, you can actually change to a preffered course, the more reason you need to read hard... even harder.<br />
<br />
I dont actually think convincing you guys will be a whole lot of problem, because there are so many of you who have written jamb more than once, or even twice... or thrice...<br />
<br />
That is so not good...<br />
<br />
I am here to make it easier guys, as in ... a lot more easier...<br />
<br />
Without further ado, i will be giving you the 2017 statistics for most schools in nigeria<br />

See ehn, every year, quarter of the people ho register for jamb actually do not write the exam, do you know why... do you...<br />
<br />
well, the reason is because, every year newbies, who have no experience in the computer field or even just a simple a b c foundation in computer try to register for jamb, and while registering, mistakes are made, and when mistakes are made things actually turn out quite differently...<br />
<br />
No guidelines, no outlines, nothing... the thing is, in life, we have to live by principles,and living by principles means following instructions.<br />

</div>
No, i know it has been quite a hard time for you guys, having to go through a lot of emotional trauma, just knowing you were not gonna make it into the university this session. Most of you guys has good results and passed, while the rest, well... just didnt reach the desired marks. Now, i know how its like, because ive been through this, alot of times, and when i say a lot of times, i mean the number of years i have stayed home as an aspirant waiting for an admission into not just unizik, but to any other prestigious federal university in the country. Being in this position is very uncomfortable, less relaxing and you develop a restless habit... life becomes quite unpleasant and everything becomes gay and boring.<br />
<br />
Now, for those who passed all cutoff marks quite alright,, i am proud to announce to you that there is still hope as the supplementary list would be coming out very soon, yes, very very soon. An this unlike so many other news like this is not false as it was announced by the deputy registrar at the orientation ceremony of the new students.<br />
<br />
<br />
For those who werent able to reach or strike the cutoff marks, i say you have a very slight chance or no chance at all of gaining admission at unizik this session, as they would consider those who passed first.<br />
<br />
Back to those who would be in the supplementary list... i am about to give the instructions and directions on what to do immediately you find your name on the supplementary list.<br />
<br />
<br />
1 Visit any cyber cafe in or outside the s chool premises, and print your admission status from unizik portal... i would strongly advise you do this inside the school<br />
<br />
2 Then proceed to the elibrary, where you will have to generate a remmita for the payment of acceptance fee, which is 24000naira, there you will also generate another remmita for ict service charge,<br />
<br />
3 Proceed thereafter to the bank and pay, please note that the bank will collect a service charge of 700naira.. collect your print outs from the bank, and return to the elibrary for confirmation of payments and your eclearance.<br />
<br />
4 After these, you will be given information on how to go about with the biometrics and physical clearance.<br />
<br />
Classes have begun, assignments are given regularly, and attendance is always taken every single day.<br />
If you reall want to keep up with your fellow year one, make sure you stay tuned, suscribe to our emails, and make sure you alays come backAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03120859904754430259noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291641165657482062.post-58597809077271255502016-12-19T18:01:00.001-08:002016-12-30T16:10:28.740-08:00Unizik closing date for 2016<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
